Getting started with plant based nutrition can be overwhelming. I work with my clients to educate them on nutrition so they understand just how nutrition, digestion and the body works. We structure a path that fits within their lifestyle. We set goals that are attainable and sustainable long term. I'm a firm believer in establishing a fitness routine. Strength training and cardiovascular training are important to maintaining good health. I offer 30min FaceTime personal training sessions and utilize the resources and equipment that client's have available. We also structure a plan to incorporate activities they can do on their own as well as a daily step goal. Our bodies were meant to move, so find something you look forward to doing. Dance classes, cycling, yoga, swimming, hiking...so many things to try!
Diet and exercise need to be balanced in order to achieve successful weight loss or body recomposition. You can exercise as much as you'd like but if you are not eating healthy, you will not receive the full benefit of weight loss, and vice versa. I educate my clients on plant based nutrition and guide them on how to incorporate healthy eating and exercise into their lifestyle and create an individualized plan to achieve their goals. There are many ways to achieve this, the key is to find a plan that works for you.
If you are in the Las Vegas area, I offer small group classes and personal trainning in my gym. It's a mix of strength & conditioning and functional body building in a fun and supportive environment. We also have a social club, where we get together for hikes, races and local social events!
